DEFENSE & INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY
TURKEY/

We see quality not as a slogan, but as requirements management.

ÇETİMUR's role is to define the customer's technical and documentation expectations clearly in the sourcing process, align them with the source and make exceptions visible before order placement.

01 / TECHNICAL DEFINITION

Define the right product correctly.

We aim to keep the standard, manufacturer part number, revision, drawing, material, tolerance and coating definition consistent throughout the order.

  • MPN / P/N and revision control
  • Drawing and customer specification reference
  • Clear definition of material and finish requirements
  • Customer technical approval for alternatives
02 / DOCUMENTATION

Clarify documentation requirements before the order.

The documentation required with a product can be critical. We believe these expectations should be defined before the order.

  • Certificate of Conformity (CoC) beklentisi
  • Material certificate / EN 10204-type document requests
  • Test report / dimensional report requests
  • Lot / heat / date code / serial number traceability
03 / SOURCE

Keep the source type visible.

Manufacturer, authorized distributor, local distributor, independent source and custom manufacturer are different source types. Avoiding misrepresentation of source information is a core principle.

  • Authorized distributorship is stated only when verifiable
  • Authenticity/documentation risks are evaluated separately for independent sources
  • Manufacturer capability is matched to the requirement for custom production
  • Source changes are managed according to customer expectations
04 / TRACEABILITY

Preserve critical information.

When required, we aim to keep product identity and related documentation traceable throughout order and delivery.

  • Order reference and customer item number
  • Manufacturer / MPN / lot or relevant trace information
  • Document matching
  • Revision and technical change notes
Important:ÇETİMUR does not claim quality certifications, manufacturer authorizations or third-party approvals it does not hold. References such as ISO, MIL-SPEC or ASTM describe customer/product requirements and do not represent company certification.
05 / USEFUL INFORMATION FOR AN RFQ

The clearer the RFQ, the stronger the sourcing research.

Not every field is mandatory. Share the information you have and we can clarify critical missing details together.

Mechanical part

Standard/drawing, dimensions, material, strength, surface/coating, tolerance, quantity, documentation expectations.

Electronics

Manufacturer, MPN/P/N, revision, quantity, date code/lot expectations, accepted alternatives, required documentation.

Cable / connector

Series, shell size, contact arrangement, termination, cable type, length, shielding and environmental conditions.

DOCUMENTATION MATRIX

Required documentation is defined at the RFQ stage.

The documents below may be requested at quotation stage depending on the item, manufacturer, source and project requirements. ÇETİMUR does not claim that every document is automatically available for every item; availability is verified before order placement.

Document / RequirementPurposeApproach
CoC
Certificate of Conformity
Manufacturer/supplier declaration that the supplied item conforms to the defined requirement. On request, subject to source availability.
EN 10204 3.1
Material / Inspection Certificate
Material and test result traceability for applicable metallic products.Verified at RFQ stage depending on product and manufacturer.
Lot / Batch TraceabilityAbility to trace the item back to lot, batch and production source when required.Added as an explicit RFQ requirement for critical applications.
RoHS / REACH
Compliance declarations
Evaluation of substance/restriction requirements for applicable products.Based on manufacturer declarations or available technical documentation.
Dimensional / Inspection ReportRecording critical dimensions, tolerances or visual requirements.Project-specific, based on drawing and inspection plan.
FAI / PPAPFirst-article / process validation expectations.Only where required by the project and supported by the selected manufacturer.
Important:Certificate, test, traceability and compliance requirements should be stated in the RFQ—not after the order—to select the correct source.
