EN 10204 3.1

A 3.1 certificate is not a generic 'quality certificate' automatically supplied with every item. For applicable products/manufacturers it is a requirement for specific inspection/test results associated with the supplied material and should be requested at RFQ stage.

Before ordering

Use the current standard revision, manufacturer datasheet and project specification. A title or standard number alone does not establish technical equivalence.

Identify the part and revision.
Describe application, environment and acceptance criteria.
Include document requirements and sourcing restrictions.
Resolve exceptions and alternatives with technical approval.
