Use the current standard revision, manufacturer datasheet and project specification. A title or standard number alone does not establish technical equivalence.
- Identify the part and revision.
- Describe application, environment and acceptance criteria.
- Include document requirements and sourcing restrictions.
- Resolve exceptions and alternatives with technical approval.
